Job Description
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Electrical Engineering team. This role will be pivotal in designing and maintaining electrical circuits systems and equipment with a particular focus on power systems electric service and supply systems and lighting systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a passion for electrical engineering with a focus on creating innovative reliable and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical Installations Design: Designing and planning of electrical systems for various types of infrastructure including buildings water treatment facilities and industrial installations.
- Electrical Calculations: Perform detailed electrical calculations for installations such as power distribution lighting emergency power systems and fire alarm systems.
- 3D BIM Modeling: Utilize Revit to create 3D BIM models of electrical systems adhering to all Levels of Development (LOD).
- Specialized Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical input for studies designs and technical assessments within the electrical engineering field.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary project reviews to ensure cohesive and fully integrated designs.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control reviews of electrical designs calculations and drawings to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
- Technical Specifications: Prepare and manage technical specification sections related to electrical systems ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Assist in the preparation of engineering budgets and schedules to align with project goals.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in electrical design for building projects.
- Proficiency with at least one engineering modeling/drafting software.
- Advanced command of English both written and spoken.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in Revit MEP.
- Experience working with Common Data Environment platforms (e.g. BIM 360 ACC).
- Familiarity with clash detection software.
- Site experience
