LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR
Temporary contract September 2025 to February 2026
Monday Friday 11.45 am to 1.00 pm (part-time 6 hours15 minutes per week)
Term-time 39 weeks per year

We are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor at Roman Road Primary School.
Roman Road is currently a two-form entry primary school. We have a strong school community with supportive parents and governors fantastically behaved and motivated children and a caring committed and professional staff.
We have a well-resourced school with excellent resources both indoor and outdoor; we like to think of it as our piece of the countryside in the middle of the city.
Roman Road is a high achieving friendly school that is proud of the support it offers teachers new to Roman Road to be successful.
We require someone with the following qualities:
- Experience of dealing with children either in a domestic or work environment.
- Knowledge of an ability to supervise children.
- Ability to understand childrens behaviour and to respond to their needs in varying circumstances
- Understanding of basic issues of hygiene and child safety
Ability to act quickly and responsibly in the event of accidents or untoward circumstances
- Ability to communicate well with children
- Ability to undertake all duties on line with the Councils Equal Opportunities policy.
