Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) is the division in charge of Coverage/Relationship Management of the banks major international clients and main financing products (Syndication Project Finance Leverage Finance etc).

Client Lifecycle Management is situated within the Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB) of MUFG Bank Paris. This function acts as a centralized 1st line support team providing support to all areas within GCIB (both from a client and transactions perspectives).

Main Purpose of the Role

This individual will be responsible for supporting the CLM function by effectively managing various adhoc / non-revenue generating tasks. This will include stakeholder management and a drive to improve the service provided to the customer and the business.

The individual will also be responsible for supporting MUFG Bank clients (Existing and New business relationships) and the GCIB France platform (Coverage and Products) for the administrative and operational aspects of the clients relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Client Support

  • Supporting the onboarding of various products including Accounts GCMS Loan FX & Money Market
  • Dedicated point of contact for end to end onboarding coordination: drive liaison with KYC Legal Credit and operational teams (Customer registration and onboarding Global Client Exposure update grouping entity bank confirmation requests)
  • Manage client POA IDs signature mandates and registrations of original documents in the Banks vault

Business Support

  • Review loan agreements prepare administrative details complete controls and checklists participate to the bookings of transactions

  • Liaison with Middle Office Back Office (Paris & London) and Customer Team

  • Arrange signature of various documents (Consent letters Facility Agreements)

Other

  • Support GCIB France on all relevant projects/initiatives participate to the periodic Global Risk Assessment as well as internal and external audits where relevant

  • Acting as CLM Expert developing a good understanding of key systems and end to end process across Bank

Work Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a bank or financial institution in a middle-office back-office or client support function. Other relevant experiences will be considered

Skills and Experience

Functional / Technical Competencies

  • Awareness of Markets Regulations / classifications (MIFID II EMIR)

  • Strong understanding of banking products and systems such as syndicated loans structured products FX and deposit

  • Proven track record of efficiency improvements and the ability to work on ones own initiative

  • Strong Excel & Word skills

  • Working English and fluent French
