Job Description

Job Title: Varsity Golf CoachLocation: Pioneer Valley Regional School Northfield MAPioneer Valley Regional School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Varsity Golf Coachto lead our golf program. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering skilldevelopment promoting sportsmanship building team camaraderie and creating a competitiveand supportive environment. This position requires strong leadership effective communicationskills and the ability to mentor student-athletes both on and off the Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the Varsity Golf program including organizing andconducting practices developing match strategies and preparing athletes for Development: Focus on improving individual skills such as swing mechanics coursemanagement and mental approach through instruction drills and practice Management: Create and implement game-day strategies guide players duringmatches and maintain a positive competitive : Foster open and positive communication with players parents schooladministration and other : Promote integrity respect responsibility and good sportsmanship both onand off the Culture: Build a positive inclusive team culture that encourages growth confidence andteamwork among all : Work closely with the Athletic Director to ensure the golf program supports theschools academic and athletic and Compliance: Ensure all practices and matches adhere to school policies leagueguidelines and MIAA regulations with a strong focus on player safety and Duties: Manage team rosters record practice and match attendance trackperformance statistics and complete other administrative tasks as required by the AthleticDirector.
