Lunch and Recess Supervisor
St. MichaelCatholic School in Wheaton IL is seeking twoenergetic anddynamic Lunch and Recess Supervisors who will work from 10:15am 12:45pm each Monday through Friday that school is in candidates are individuals who are interested in interacting with elementary school students helping them to follow lunch/recess rules and maintaining a safeenvironment while the students enjoy recess. In addition the applicant must be willing to help teach children how to use indoor voices while enjoying lunch teach table manners pass out milkand hot lunches and help maintain a safe and welcoming lunchroom and playground environment for all.

The ideal candidate should be either a licensed teacher or a paraprofessional of good character. Eachcandidatefor this position must complete a FrontlineApplicant Tracking application and all required uploads register on the Diocese of Joliet VIRTUS website completeProtecting Gods Childrentraining and be fingerprinted at an Accurate Biometrics facility.

Physical and Mental Demands Work Hazards

While performing the duties of this job the employee may frequently be required to sit stand walk talk hear see feel with hands reach with arms walk up or down multiple flights of stairs and be physically able to perform duties as assigned including the ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds if needed.
Works in standard office and school building environments but also has ability to work outdoors during outdoor student activities.

Education and Experience

A degree from an accredited college or university in Education or a related discipline is a plus but not required.
Previous experienceis desiredbut not required.
Enjoys being around youngchildren ages Preschool to Grade 8.
Excellent communication skills are essential when supervising young children.
Practicing Catholic is preferred but not required.

Hours / Benefits
This is a part-time position hours not to exceed 29 hours per week as per a schedule developed by the Principal.

Salary range*: $15.00 - $22.00 *Final hourly rate will be determined by relevant years of experience in a similar job combined with education and professional licensure.
