3STEP Sports is the nations largest and most connected youth sports club and event organization. Summary
The NXT Lacrosse Director Club Operations oversees and manages the Club teams XPR programming (club neutral trainings camps) and the Phila 99ers/As Box programs. This includes existing teams and programs as well as future growth under this umbrella. This position is based out of the NXT offices in Conshohocken PA.
Position Type/Workweek
This is a Full-time Exempt salaried position. The normal office business hours are Monday through Friday 9am-5pm with flexibility due to the event and practice calendars. Required to work nights weekends and holidays to support practice events and/or special projects.
Essential Functions
  • Manage and oversee the Boys overall divisional direction:
  • Meet deadlines for support teams operations staff marketing sales etc.
  • Collaborate with the other divisional directors to share resources and initiatives.
  • Communicate as the leader to all boys programs directors and cross divisional support staff.
  • Adhere to sales SOPs and implement systems to support the success of sales.
  • Manage and oversee the Boys divisional budget:
  • Creation of yearly budgets based off historical data and analysis.
  • Maintaining operations within budgets monitoring profit/loss analysis and AR/AP management
  • Track/report sales metrics identify and implement necessary mitigation and growth strategies.
  • Program success indicators include but are not limited to: quality of competition on site experience and hitting revenue targets.
  • Assist in rostering waivering and Stay to Play hotel policy when applicable.
  • Assist with strategic business development and building key relationships.
Program Functions
  • Managing all NXT LC Box and XPR programs existing and new business alongside the co-director(s) & support staff includes the following:
  • Communication involving parent conversations recaps pre-events email calls via cell TeamSnap or other platforms etc.
  • Manage plan and organize schedules for the year to include events games leagues practices etc.
  • Support Staff help with TeamSnap uploads facility contracts tournament registrations waivers organizing staff/master schedule travel etc.
  • Under the direction of the operations support staff support selection and offer final approval of all apparel uniforms and sports equipment as needed etc.
  • Coach recruitment retention development etc.
  • Under the direction of operations support staff assist in coach onboarding processes including training payroll reimbursements travel coordination and clearance requirements.
  • Player recruitment development and retention. Create a development curriculum for all NXT programs including benchmarks practice plans feedback mechanisms etc.
  • Coach and serve as a site director at NXT practices tournaments programs and club box or XPR events etc.
  • Establish and/or maintain methods throughout the year for Club & XPR sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with marketing and team members to execute strategies including email campaigns paid advertisements print materials social media player highlights and on-site branding materials.
  • Collaborate to create recruiting plans processes and roadmaps for families.

Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelors degree from a 4-year accredited university or college. Masters degree preferred.
  • Collegiate Coaching or multiyear High School Head Coaching or prior Club Director Experience
  • 5 years of lacrosse industry experience required.
  • 2 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Effective written and oral communicator.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Passion for lacrosse and advanced knowledge of the sports landscape.
  • Strong self-initiative and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
This job is operated in a professional office setting as well as at outdoor sporting events. You must be able to stand kneel or bend for an extended period. Lift up to 50 pounds. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones copiers and camera equipment as well as sports equipment including ball buckets tents tables boxes containing apparel etc. This position requires travel such as to scheduled sports practices and events.
