Overview
Sagewell is located at 3518 Drawbridge Parkway (inside MedCenter Greensboro) Greensboro NC 27410. For more information please visit: Manager Health and Fitness manages a team of fitness staff and oversees the design and implementation of fitness and wellness programs for members of the Medical Fitness Center. This role critically impacts to the Medical Fitness Centers success by setting operational objectives developing strategy and ensuring policies and procedures are followed by staff members.
The ideal candidate will have experience:
-leading a fitness team comprised of group fitness instructors personal trainers and fitness specialists
-in a medical fitness facility serving a large membership base developing programming and leading initiatives that engage members and increase membership retention
-progressively increasing member health outcomes
Responsibilities
Designs and manages fitness programs such as personal training and group exercises that are aligned to operational objectives.
Develops the Medical Fitness Centers membership retention strategy including utilization tracking and fitness assessments for the entire member population to meet financial targets.
Oversees an internal system for repairing machines and malfunctioning exercise equipment to facilitate equipment maintenance and improve member satisfaction.
Encourages the fitness staff to develop a wide range of fitness related seminars clinics and incentive-based exercise programs to drive engagement.
Devises and implements promotional strategies to generate maximum participation in all fitness activities and programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred: 3 years supervisory experience
