- Assemble install seal rig inspect and complete structural and system components.
- Work from drawings specifications quality standards and procedures.
- Perform functional tests to verify fit form and function of assemblies and components.
- Obtain information from prints charts sketches and work instructions.
- Use shop math and precision measuring/testing instruments.
- Utilize tooling for assembly of components into sub-assemblies or end items.
- Verify work meets engineering and process specifications.
- Identify and report discrepancies per procedure.
- Ensure tool and equipment certifications are maintained.
- Perform routine minor machine maintenance (filters bulbs fluids etc.).
- Move products within the immediate work area and between operations as needed.
- Complete system transactions to document product movement.
- Perform work within scheduled timeframes.
- Support continuous workflow by assisting and training team members.
- Train others in assembly installation and inspection techniques.
- Cross-train in inspection and obtain SIA qualification.
- Perform work in all general functions: Assembly/Installation Structures Sub-Assembly Sealing
Qualifications :
- Require 5 years of Sheet metal experience in Aerospace Industry
- 737 rework sheet metal mechanics if they have a structures background it would be helpful as well
- Hotel reimbursement for training only while in Wichita
- Pay Rate plus $110 per diem (Per-diem only for non local workers or someone who resides over 100 miles from the work location)
- Training will take place in Wichita KS
Additional Information :
This position is a temporary (contract) position with no specific time period but could be extended or shortened as needed. Contractors are employed by a Segula Technologies and placed on assignment at our clients facility
