Job Description:

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Logistics who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Naples Italy.

Accountabilities:

• Warehouse processes implementation;
• Ensure the issuing of the purchase requests and Service Entry Sheets for Direct and Indirects purchase orders;
• Reporting activities;
• Support Supply Chain Management in the the management of HRSTS materials on stock at suppliers premises;
• Ensure Import and Export activities with Logistics Providers;
• Maintain communication with transport service providers to place transport orders receive confirmation monitor important milestones and receiving necessary documentation;
• Plan and optimize deliveries (considering transport modes: Air Ocean Road);

Required Skills/ Knowledge:

• At least 3 years of experience in the role;
• Knowledge of SAP and experience with Microsoft Office;
• Experience in logistic and warehouse management;
• Experience in Vendor rating and suppliers monitoring;
• Experience in Reporting;
• Experience in Cost Controlling & Budgeting concepts/basics;
• Logistic and warehouse management
• Organization & Company Processes knowledge

Education / Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent technical background;

Languages:

• Fluent Knowledge of English (written & spoken);
