Job Title: Insurance Administrator

Location: Northwest Veterinary Specialists

Reporting to: Client Services Team Leader

Job Type: Permanent Part-Time (28 Hours P/W)

Northwest Veterinary Specialists are recruiting for an Insurance Administrator based at their hospital in Runcorn. In this position you have the opportunity to excel and enhance your transferable skills whilst working as part of a friendly and supportive team. The purpose of the role is to provide efficient administration of all insurance claims and insurer queries relating to the claims with a high level of detail as part of the wider client services team. This is a permanent part-time role working 28h per week. Monday Tuesday Wednesday & Friday 10.30am-6pm.

  • Processing and submitting all insurance claims via paper claims online portal and Vetenvoy claims via the Practice management system.

  • Updating insurance tracker with information regarding claims

  • Excellent telephone communication with clients and insurers.

  • Resolving insurance company queries and client queries regarding claims.

  • Keeping the insurance email inbox up to date and dealing with any matters arising.

  • Liaising with the credit controller to send off claims in a timely manner to keep all debt relating to the business to a minimum.
