Schedule:NBSP;
- From Monday to Friday
- 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift
- Weekends as needed
Pay Rate:
- The hourly wage for this position is $39.73 per hour. Benefits beginning 1st of the month following 60 days of employment include: Medical Dental Vision Wellness Program
- Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
- $7000 Sign-on bonus

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for machinery inspection mechanical and electrical technical assistance and maintenance and repair during assigned shifts
- Tests installs and repairs plant equipment and machinery
- Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections on equipment and machinery
- Conducts electrical inspection repair and troubleshooting on production and support equipment and plant power systems (PLC I/O electronics motors and instruments)
- Performs basic mechanical work including sheet metal layout fabrication buildings and grounds maintenance weights and scales calibration welding and pipefitting
- Documents work performed and communicates work activities to appropriate personnel
- Stays current on new equipment and updates to existing equipment by reading manuals schematics drawings and relevant literature
- Provides on-call emergency repair service for all areas of the mill
- Utilizes fabrication shop process equipment such as drill press hydraulic press welder band saw sheet metal shear metal brake and milling machine
- Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures including Safety Quality and GMPs
- Works in various conditions including moderate exposure to dusty and dirty work environments and seasonal weather extremes (both inside and outside).
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Works from ladders and elevated platforms as well as climbing steps and crawling over under and into equipment as needed to perform job duties
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Industrial Maintenance experience: 5 years (required) with certification 6 years without
- English (required)
- Mechanical Certificate (preferred)
- Electrical Certificate (preferred)
- Work Authorization (required)
- AM Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 Sytems: 1 year (preferred)
- Progressive Maintenance Step 3: 1 year (preferred)
