Variable Support Supervisor

Responsible for supporting maintenance/housekeeping/mobile equipment on all three shifts as needed as well as various project support as required. This position will support maintenance truck repair and sanitation teams on multiple shifts as needed. Scheduled Work week is Sunday through Thursday. Work Schedule will fluctuate when needed.

PROFICIENCIES


Responsible for the following Support Personnel and Vendor network:

  • Supervise Tradesmen Electrician Millwright Machine Repair Pipefitter & Truck Repair
  • Vendor Manager for OEM and outside service coordination
  • Supervise housekeeping services.
  • Experience with Team cleaning.
  • Collaborate with Operations Team for Maintenance Repair and Machine upgrades to maximize life cycle of critical equipment.
  • Mechanical Systems Diagnosis and Repair experience
  • Experience with Pumps Motors dock doors and hydraulics.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley Siemens and other Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of SAP


Contribute to the following business processes:

  • GMS Process for Global Facilities Team
  • Vendor Management
  • Safety Contract Management
  • Maximo and Corrigo Work Order Management
  • Planned reactive and predictive maintenance processes.
  • Facilities Interruptions for planned or reactive maintenance
  • Weekend and Holiday Shutdown Maintenance Planning
  • End-of-Shift Reporting
  • Critical Spare Parts Management


Understanding of Building Systems:

  • Building Automation Systems
  • Building Monitoring Systems
  • Data Centers
  • Security and Locks
  • Building Utility & Piping Systems
  • Energy Conservation Understanding of Life/Safety Systems
  • Fire Sprinkler systems
  • Smoke/fire detection systems
  • Fire Extinguishers
  • Signage
  • Evacuation Plans Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety
  • Waste Removal
  • OSHA State and Local Regulatory Compliance
  • HAZMAT (Hazardous Material) Compliance
  • Commodity Resource Management
  • Environmental Compliance Initiatives
  • Environmental Emergency Response


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate Employee PTO/Vacation Scheduling and Coverage
  • Maintain Employee Training Schedules & Records
  • Maintain Versatility Chart for Skilled Trades


MEASURABLES AND OBJECTIVES

  • Ensure 100% Employee Safety Training Compliance
  • Perform Timely Safety Incident Reporting and Monitoring
  • Maintain 0 Recordable and Lost Workday Case Injuries
  • Support cost saving initiatives
  • Support KPI Performance Metrics


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Maintenance Field
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience required
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to provide timely reports
