Salary and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is based on experience ($22.52 - $26.87)

Responsibilities
- Monday Friday (40 hours)
- Head Start Program
- Supervise children and maintain a safe positive classroom environment.
- Working with children ages up to 5 years old
- Plan and lead daily activities that support learning and development.
- Use curriculum and assessments to meet individual and group needs.
- Adapt instruction for children with disabilities and dual-language learners.
- Maintain regular communication with families and support family involvement.
- Collaborate with support staff and refer families to appropriate services.
- Ensure compliance with Head Start and agency standards and policies.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK) or a related degree with at least 300 hours (20 semester or 30 quarter credits) in Early Childhood Education coursework (transcripts required).
- Related degree holders must have at least 1 year of Pre-K classroom experience (ages 35) preferably with diverse populations including at-risk special needs gifted and culturally diverse children.
- Must complete and maintain all required annual training hours.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
