Job Description
Community Manager
- Pay: $17 per hour

Community Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure staffing meets individual authorizations including PTO training and emergency coverage; provide direct support as needed.
- Monitor CISS ILST and CP service usage to maximize authorized units.
- Identify and implement enabling technology and natural supports in home/community settings.
- Participate in COS and PCSP meetings; share updates on progress and integration.
- Assist Direct Support Professionals with person-centered activity plans and calendars.
- Model person-centered support in community settings.
- Identify local opportunities for inclusion volunteering and natural supports.
- Plan and coordinate social events outings and Special Olympics involvement.
- Track and report social capital and community success stories.
- Support engagement via the Emory Valley Center CP Facebook page.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in the IDD field or a related area preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have a valid Tennessee drivers license with a good driving record.
- Duties may require occasional after-hours work and travel to organizational sites.
- Required training/certifications provided by the organization including CPR/First Aid.
