Job Description
IEP Facilitator
2025-2026 School Year
182Days Per Year
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
- New MexicoSpecial Education License required
- NM Level III licensure preferred
- Experience working with students families and staff to develop implement and monitor IEP goals
- Ability to develop a variety of IEP to address: Child Find Part C to B transitions elementary to middle school and high school with post high school transition
- Clear understanding of IDEA regulations their application and ability to relate information and program placement to stakeholders
- Ability to conduct IEP meetings in a professional collaborative positive and timely manner
- Be able and willing to resolve problems that arise
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organization skills with acute attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in restricting access to student records and sensitive information
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements noted on job description
