Job Description

Reporting to the Rockfon South Technical Director you will be responsible for providing internal and external sustainability and technical support in relation to Rockfon products and solutions in Italy on a day-to-day basis managing and following up on technical complaints carrying out tests lobbying internal and external training . You will be familiar with current legislation on sustainability fire acoustics international standards etc.

These are your responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for the entire Rockfon range of tiles grid and design products.

  • Provide technical support in specifications of large projects and to work together with the sales team.

  • Provide external and internal technical training including sustainability.

  • Take part in the development of new products being close to the sales organization.

  • Manage the process for obtaining certifications and commissioning tests (sustainability fire acoustics etc.).

  • Keep the technical documentation updated undertake technical reviews of documentation and assist with translation.

  • Assist with managing technical complaints.

  • Provide support and training to the organization on sustainability matters EPDs environmental schemes for buildings.

  • Support new product launches and to follow-up of quality corrective actions.

  • Internal management of special products (outside the tariff) transfer prices minimum quantity etc.

  • To attend building sites when deemed necessary.

This is who you are:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant position.

  • Technical Engineering /Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science Engineering or Architecture

  • High degree of knowledge in acoustics sustainability or seismicity

  • Proficient in Italian and fluent in both spoken and written English

  • High level in CAD and/or Solidworks

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Power Point Outlook)

  • Familiar with building sites

  • Interpersonal Skills: Team spirit Customer orientation Ability to work autonomously and independently excellent interpersonal and communicative skills (spoken and written) multitasking dynamism and flexibility.

Location: ROCKWOOL Italia - Milano - office based (Corso Sempione) with limited number of business trips in Italy and Europe.
