AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
You will manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers making recommendations on security cost performance reliability sustainability and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.
You will also:
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- You will build the technical relationship with customers and operate as their trusted advisor. The best interests of the customer will shape the guidance you provide.
- Internally you will be the voice of the customer sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features
- You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices technical content and reference architectures (e.g. whitepapers code samples blog posts) and evangelise and educate about AWS (e.g. through workshops user groups meetups public speaking online videos or conferences).
- Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organisation by hiring coaching and mentoring others.
- Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customers outcomes.

About the team
The AWS ISV Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to working with software companies. Were here to help customers to design and build some of the most scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures and solutions cost efficiently to enable them to expand their business globally.
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics).
- Experience in design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
