Job Description

Title: Adjunct Instructor - Human and Social Services Program

Salary Range: $625/per credit hour

Contract Term Length:Not Applicable

Standard Hours:Part-Time

Work Location:Hybrid

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

College: Somerset Community College

Campus Location: Somerset Community College

Department: Health Sciences

Job Summary

Somerset Community College is accepting applications for Adjunct Instructors for the Human and Social Services Program.

Job Duties:

The successful candidate will work to empower students to be fully engaged in the learning environment and promoting growth and educational development to support the operation and success of the general education courses in the division.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Human Services Social Work Psychology Counseling or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in discipline.
  • Professional work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work with current unrestricted certification/licensure to work as a social worker in Kentucky.
  • Three years of related work experience.
  • College-level classroom laboratory or clinical teaching experience.
