Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking permanent full-time Machine Operators to join its vibrant team. The machine Operator will be responsible for moving containers and railcars at the facility. Work Schedule:12-hour shifts (3 on 4 off 4 on 3 off). From 5:30 am - 5:30 pm or 5:30 pm - 5:30 am. It may vary according to company needs.
Language of Work:English
Pay:$38.40/hour
Night Premium:$2.50/hour night premium for the ones who work on that shift which gives a total wage of $4090/h.
Work Environment:Must be willing to work outdoors throughout all weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operate any machinery including material handling equipment container handling equipment or railcar movers to transport and position containers materials railcars and equipment.
Facilitate the movement of railcars including coupling and uncoupling positioning for loading or unloading and ensuring proper alignment.
Collaborate with the logistics and transportation teams to coordinate the movement of railcars and containers in a timely and efficient manner.
Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order reporting issues to the maintenance team.
Adhere to all workplace safety procedures including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Good communication skills; Must be comfortable engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal non-verbal and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills.
Physically in shape: The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy weights (50 pounds). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distant vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and focus.
Minimum of one year related work experience in logistics industry is required.
Must possesses Forklift Operator certificate;
*** Must clear pre-hire checks: Criminal Background Check.
*** Must have access to your own vehicle and a valid drivers license as the terminal is not accessible by public transportation.
