Established in 1979 the firm has grown to employ over 275 professionals across Canada and has successfully assisted more than 150000 Canadians in achieving financial freedom. the business is entering a new phase of growth focused on innovation strategic expansion and transformational growth with a long-term plan they are seeking an accomplished and entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who can drive growth scale operations and guide the financial vision of the firm.
Reporting to the CEO the CFO will join the Senior Leadership Team as a key strategic partner guiding and leading business and operations shaping Farbers next evolution. The CFO will be both strategic and hands-on bringing analytical data-driven financial expertise to solve complex business problems in a people-centric culture.
This is a broad leadership role including developing and executing financial strategies aligned with business objectives leading the annual planning and forecasting cycles acting as the primary financial liaison to external and internal key stakeholders. As the finance steward own the core finance and accounting functions delivering best in class reporting cash flow management risk management and working capital management. Develop a high performing team one that fosters a culture of excellence innovation accountability and continuous improvement. With the anticipated growth of the business there will be major initiatives to lead including M&A technology modernization and automation and building strategic relationships.

In order to be considered for this role you will possess the following:
- CPA designation
- 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience with a successful track record ideally in a multi-entity professional services or financial services environment
- Demonstrated experience in driving profitable growth
- Strategic leader with hands-on leadership with an operational and technology/data driven mindset
- Leader of a high performance team with expertise of building and coaching for sustainable growth
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills highly collaborative with the ability to influence cross-functionally
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment
- Curious analytical action-oriented and innovative
