Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking a full-time permanent Maintenance Welder join its vibrant team. Successful candidates will reflect Ray-Monts core values: Quality Flexibility Performance Commitment Attitude and Innovation.
Employment Condition:
Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
CAD$36.50 per hour
40 hours per week with occasional weekends and overtime paid after 40 hours a week at a rate of$54.75/h.
Employment Location: 4000 Barrett Road Prince Rupert BC V8J 3R2$100 for work boots provided annually by the company;
A full group insurance coverage plan including an employee assistance program supported by the employers contribution;

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting the maintenance team with general maintenance and preventative maintenance duties
The person will be used in various areas of maintenance (bagging / bulk / pulp and general yard maintenance)
Repair containers that are on the ground
Maintain an updated database based on repairs
Optimize the welding productivity by calling the Crane Operators when a row of damaged containers is almost completed
Assist the maintenance team with repairs on machines or to fix equipment
Minor welding on shipping containers
Repairing seals on shipping containers
Repairing hardware on shipping containers
Repairing floors on shipping containers
Cleaning of equipment & Maintain and organize work area;
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of welding experience
Registered Apprentice with Skilled Trade BC
Welding Ticket (an asset)
Completion of Trade School (an asset)
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Experience in Preventative maintenance Forklift operation any heavy-duty equipment operation (an asset)
Attention to detail & organized
Must be comfortable with power tools
Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Must be willing to work outdoors throughout all weather conditions
