About The Opportunity
As part of the Economic Development team this position is responsible to coordinate prepare and submit external grant and funding applications and be proactive in actively researching grant and funding opportunities on behalf of Council and relevant business units.
The incumbent will also support the advocacy efforts of Council including as outlined in the Corporate Plan by undertaking research drafting position papers and coordinating submissions to government agencies. The position will foster effective partnerships across the organisation that supports cross organisational thinking and successful implementation of change.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for community development and the ability to advocate effectively. In this dynamic position you will be at the forefront of researching coordinating and submitting grant applications while supporting the Councils advocacy initiatives. Your work will not only support the economic development of Bundaberg but also enhance the quality of life for our residents.
