POSITION SUMMARY:
The Demand Planning Analyst will drive the development of forecasting models for diverse products ensuring accuracy and optimization. This role involves monitoring performance analyzing inventory and aligning the Master Production Schedule with sales forecasts. Proficient in tools like DOMO and PowerBI and Excel this position will generate insightful reports for cross-functional teams. Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills are essential. This position will join a collaborative environment working with Supply Chain Operations and Engineering to contribute to overall business success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops and maintains demand forecasting models for various product categories.
Retail Sales Demand
Wholesale Sales Forecast
Production Demand (Including the Purchased Parts Forecast)
Rigging Forecast (Total Daily Rates and Inventory Strategy)
Motor Forecast
Monitors and evaluates demand planning performance ensuring accuracy and adherence to set KPIs.
Track and Report on Demand Planning Accuracy
Set and Maintain KPIs
Conducts regular analysis of inventory levels identifying risks and opportunities and proposing strategies for optimal inventory management.
Plant Finished Goods Inventory Tracking
Dealers Inventory Planning and Tracking
Ensures the Master Production Schedule aligns with the global consolidated sales forecast reconciling gaps between annual sales plans forecasts and current Master Production Schedule.
Generates reports and dashboards using tools such as DOMO PowerBI Excel KBM and other applications to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams including sales operations and supply chain to gather and analyze data supporting production planning decisions.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors Degree
Preferred degree in Data Science
Years of experience: Three years
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced problem-solving abilities through data collection and critical thinking.
Proficiency in using tools like Power Point Domo KBM PowerBI Snowflake with a willingness to explore and learn AI and ML tools.
Strong organizational skills including the ability to organize reports folders and communications from multiple sources.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Regular computer work and sitting.
Occasional standing and walking.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures policies and practices.
