ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. All applicants must be professing Christians and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of Abilene Christian University while employed by the university.
Supporting GST students through the entire cycle of their engagement at ACU including recruiting admissions program completion academic advising and alumni relationships
Working closely with the respective program directors to schedule and lead events for the school including recruitment programmatic retention efforts career development and alumni recognition
Perform various administrative duties in the Graduate School of Theology and various personal assistant duties for seminary officers
Supporting GST students through the entire cycle of their engagement at ACU including recruiting admissions program completion academic advising and alumni relationships
Provide support for applicants including but not limited to assistance with application financial aid campus tours responding promptly to all calls emails and letters and maintaining contact through social media networks
Maintain consistent personal communication with prospective students.
Assist students by performing appropriate follow-up and coordination with team members. This includes working with employees in a team environment and providing accurate student information and assistance to other team members in and/or outside of their functional area
Working closely with the respective program directors to schedule and lead events for the school both on and off campus including recruitment programmatic retention efforts career development and alumni recognition.
Attend all GST faculty meetings in order to better understand and reflect the cultures of the department
Flexibility to be away from home multiple days or weekends as needed
Complete productivity reports expense reports and administrative tasks in a timely manner
C. Perform various administrative duties in the Graduate School of Theology and various personal assistant duties for Associate Dean.
Coordinate with ACU/D for website and social media content
Process paperwork to assist the GST office
Generate and disseminate communication from GST office to students
Maintain student forms files and databases
Address or redirect other student needs and requests as needed
Coordinate appointments correspondence and meetings
Arrange and expense travel if needed
Other duties as needed
D. Offer logistical and administrative support for DMin Program
1. Assist DMin director with logistics and coordination of DMin courses events and residency on campus
2. Coordinate with GST Dean and Executive Assistant on budgets
3. Coordinate lodging and travel arrangements for DMin students and instructors
4. Manage communication with current and prospective DMin students
Skills
Strong planning organizational and time management skills
Utilizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent command of professional presentation skills and be comfortable presenting to groups both large and small
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Proficiency in Google Drive Mail Calendar Docs and Sheets
