What you will be doing in this role
As the Chief Health Information Manager (internally known as Network Health Information Manager) you will oversee the strategic direction and operational performance of the Health Information Services across our two sitesSydney Adventist Hospital and San Day Surgery Hornsby. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer you will ensure the seamless integration and continuous improvement of health information systems aligning them with organisational goals and regulatory standards.
You will champion the transition to a fully automated and digitised health information system including the shift to electronic medical records and implementation of AI solutions to enhance service delivery and operational performance. You will also be responsible for managing the departmental budget and potentially hold Privacy Officer responsibilities.
Crucially youll lead inspire and develop your team through continuous coaching and training promoting a culture of excellence and ensuring that departmental targets are met with efficiency and professionalism.

Who were looking for
This role requires a minimum of five years management experience in a tertiary hospital and comprehensive knowledge of contemporary Health Information Management (HIM) practice.
