Job Description
Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and driven Backend Engineer to join our innovative startup team. As a key player you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our backend services ensuring they are scalable robust and secure. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven company focused on transforming the franchise industry.
Responsibilities :
- Design develop and maintain backend services and APIs to support our web applications.
- Implement and optimize GraphQL queries and mutations for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Manage and maintain our MongoDB databases ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to design and implement efficient secure and scalable APIs.
- Participate in code reviews ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Monitor and optimize backend performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and frameworks to continuously improve our stack.
Skills :
- Minimum 2 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on GraphQL and MongoDB.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and .
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and experience with MongoDB including indexing aggregation and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Mandatory Requirement:
Ability to work US working hours is required to ensure seamless collaboration with our team and stakeholders.
