Job Description

Job Title - Project Development - Asst Manager / Deputy Manager

Location - Delhi

Position reports to - Head of Business Development

Job Purpose:

Managing project development activities for EDF Renewables projects in India

Key Responsibilities:

Identification and assessment of viable sites for renewable energy projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments for site identification resource assessment acquisition procurement legal compliance and others.

Obtain permits and approvals for project development.

Be well-versed in Central / state renewable energy regulations policies and guidelines.

Conduct regular assessments of the connectivity status of intra-state and inter-state substations.

Support in drafting presentation for internal deliberation and approvals.

Contribute to development and implementation of short- and long-term strategies for developing new projects.

Ensure project development activities meet their milestones in a timely manner.

Oversee the pre-development phase including monitoring progress and providing regular updates.

Liaise with government agencies regulatory bodies and local stakeholders to secure all necessary approvals.

Skills & Qualification:

4-5 years of experience in Renewable Energy Project Development

Preferred experience in land acquisition for Wind & Solar projects.

Experience in securing connectivity for CTU or STU Projects

Strong blend of commercial and technical acumen

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Educational Qualification: BTech and MBA from a reputed college.
