Starting Salary: $20.29 - $25.86
Performs skilled journey level work in the installation preventive maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment at various Orlando Venuesfacilities. These include high-profile and dynamic environments such as the KIA Center Camping World Stadium Harry P. Leu Gardens and the Mennello Museum of American Art. Conducts regular inspections of air conditioning units makes operating adjustments lubricates units and changes filters. Work requires the inspection of malfunctioning units testing of equipment diagnosis of problems repair or replacement of parts and replacement of refrigerant. Employee works under general supervision usually alone and exercises reasonable initiative and independent judgment in scheduling work and in determining action to be taken. Work is reviewed through inspection of work completed reports from users of equipment study of work reports and analysis of operating and maintenance costs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree and two (2) years experience in the installation maintenance and repair of heating and air conditioning systems; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Valid Florida Drivers License required.
