Executive Assistant

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for an Executive Assistant to support the director of MQ-25 operations of the St. Louis site in Mascoutah Illinois!

This is a rewarding yet challenging leadership role that will directly support the Director of MQ-25 Operations. In this role you will leverage your strengths by assisting the team in leading the organization.

The Executive Assistant often represents the interests of the leader thus requiring general BDS / Aerospace & Defense Industry product knowledge and demonstrated abilities to interface and collaborate with all levels.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate the needs of the Director for scheduled events presentations discussions and recurring processes; research prepare socialize and review materials as appropriate for the event
  • The role will lead and integrate program leadership team operations deliverables to include: Operating Rhythm Org Optimization/Metrics Metrics/KPIs Lean/productivity & optimization Investment Integration and Integrated Planning and Scheduling
  • This role will integrate and align program efforts with the Air Dominance Manufacturing leadership efforts
  • Identifies key stakeholder project-specific objectives and requirements
  • Ability to effectively navigate complexity and ambiguity
  • Strong people skills and a high level of discretion in handling confidential information
  • Professionalism in dealing with senior leaders persuasive written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to analyze and summarize data for executive consumption multitask effectively and use sound judgment to execute complex tasks with minimal guidance is required
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations and facilitating leadership meetings
  • Ability to network and collaborate across multiple organizations
  • Knowledge of BDS business
  • Knowledge and understanding of Boeings Diversity and Inclusion goals and plans
  • Advocate and emulate SS&L

Additional Responsibilities may include:

  • Leads develops coordinates integrates analyzes and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry.
  • Leads studies/analysis (trend variance impact) reports risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts constraints involving product development production rates process improvement program initiatives.
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential develops mitigation planning and refines the business case.
  • Develops and establishes lead time requirements.
  • Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan schedules change and baseline management processes techniques considered to be best practice across the industry.
  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion.
  • Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 years of experience collaborating with Senior Level/Executive Level Management
  • 1 years of experience writing communications for senior executives and other leaders
  • 3 years of experience in a role that required organizational skills with the ability to prioritize facilitate and coordinate multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • 3 years of experience organizing facilitating and executing large meetings or events with executive and senior customer stakeholders
  • 3 years of experience developing and executing operating rhythms integrated program schedules project plans and/or metrics
  • 1 years of experience with program management project management and/or business operations
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in formal or informal roles within the Boeing Company or in outside activities

Travel:

The position may require traveling up to 25% of the time.

Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
