The Role
What Youll Be Doing
- Act as the primary technical resource for the Channel Sales team supporting sales opportunities with Agents Data Center Partners VARs and MSPs.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations technical presentations and workshops to partner sales and technical teams.
- Translate partner business requirements into cloud and network architecture solutions using Megaports platform and APIs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to partnersguiding network design integration strategies and multicloud architecture best practices.
- Enable and onboard partner teams with technical training sales certifications and architecture resources.
- Develop joint solution architectures and integration use cases across our partner landscape.
- Partner cross-functionally with Global Solutions Architects and Direct Sales teams to drive regional growth and technical alignment.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our API and Terraform capabilities to support custom partner integrations.
- Represent Megaport at industry events and partner summits as a technical subject matter expert.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong foundation in Layer 2 and Layer 3 network design with experience supporting enterprise cloud networking departments.
- Knowledge of hyperscaler cloud networking services such as AWS Direct Connect Azure ExpressRoute Google Interconnect and Oracle FastConnect.
- Experience supporting partner ecosystems (Agents VARs MSPs or Data Center providers) is strongly preferred.
- Strong public speaking and demo delivery skillsable to lead small workshops or large partner trainings.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or API integrations is a plus.
- Familiarity with carrier networks interconnection models and enterprise WAN strategies.
- Previous experience in the enterprise SaaS cloud or infrastructure space is a bonus.
- Collaborative resourceful and proactive mindset in a fast-paced remote-first environment.
