We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to join our Marketing team at athenahealth. This individual contributor role is critical in driving awareness and adoption of our product offerings enhancing customer engagement and positioning athenahealth as a market leader. The Senior Manager will focus on improving the adoption of existing features communicating new offerings and demand generation leveraging digital marketing initiatives.
This individual contributor role would report to the Director of Product Marketing based in the US. This position is based in our ITPL office in Bangalore with the candidate expected to be on-site 1 to 2 days a week to work closely with the Product teams. Additionally this role requires daily virtual coordination with the US marketing teams.
Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):
Targeted Messaging: Communicate new offerings through targeted messaging campaigns aimed at existing customers to drive engagement and usage.
Client Events: Organize and execute targeted client events to foster relationships and showcase product capabilities.
Market Leadership Messaging: Ensure consistent messaging of athenahealths market leadership through various forums including webinars conferences and industry publications.
Digital marketing SEO and Web Presence: Enable and enhance SEO strategies to improve the online presence of the product portfolio driving organic traffic demand generation and visibility.
Rebranding Initiatives: Lead efforts to rebrand product offerings ensuring alignment with market trends and customer expectations.
Content Development: Create consistent messaging through success stories data sheets pitch decks and other marketing collateral to support sales and customer engagement.
Thought Leadership: Position athenahealth as a thought leader in the industry by leveraging AI insights and trends in marketing materials and communications.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Sales and Customer Success to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
10 years of experience in marketing preferably in the healthcare or technology sectors in the US.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
Skills Required:
Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence a broad base of internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to in
form marketing strategies and decisions.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Creative Thinking: Strong creative and strategic thinking skills to develop innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and foster an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
Initiative: Takes the initiative to research and find solutions making confident decisions even in challenging situations.
