Salary: $65000-$80000K Based on Experience
Our client is a full-service development company known for designing and building high-quality multi-family homes that combine luxury livability and thoughtful integration with the surrounding community.
Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Accountant to support full-cycle accounting for real estate development projects. This role plays a key part in tracking project costs managing financial reporting and collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy from project inception to completion.

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Accountant to support full-cycle accounting for real estate development projects. This role plays a key part in tracking project costs managing financial reporting and collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy from project inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage job costing project budgets and financial forecasts
- Perform full-cycle accounting including AP/AR and general ledger management
- Monitor and report on construction costs and cash flow
- Prepare internal and external financial reports
- Support draw processes and ensure lender compliance
- Assist with audits internal controls and regulatory filings
- Collaborate with development construction and project teams
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field
- 23 years of real estate development and construction accounting experience
- Proficiency in SAGE or similar ERP systems; advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
- CPA designation or working toward it is an asset
- Experience with residential or mixed-use development projects
- Valid BC drivers license
