Job Description
Day Shift Monday-Thursday 7 AM to 4:30 PM & Fridays 7 AM to 11AM
-CNC lathe setup and operator
- Recognize trends in machine performance and ability to make necessary adjustments to maintain stringent part requirements
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements
- Interact with production planning and quality control departments to achieve on-time delivery quality and profitability goals
- Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reductions processes quality and productivity
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have own tools
- Must be able to read prints
- Perform fill setup operations including verification of part compliance to specified requirements
- Ability to measure all parts using all shop tools
- Ability to perform offsets on machines
- Mori Seiki and Haas and Tree and Citizen experience are a huge plus
- Possess strong math skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
