Job Summary
This Admission Counselor is responsible for assisting in the recruitment evaluation selection and enrollment of first-year students. The counselor will interview students and speak with parents travel to high schools and college fairs in their assigned (domestic with the possibility of international) territories work with secondary school counselors and read and select applicants as a member of the Admission Committee. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in international admissions or a demonstrated interest in global engagement. Candidates who enjoy travel and building connections across cultures are especially encouraged to apply.
Major Areas of Responsibility
Plan and execute recruitment travel in assigned territories. Make presentations to schools and community-based organizations; establish lasting relationships with school counselors
Evaluate candidates for admission. Interview candidates read applications and assign
evaluations to applicants; participate in the committee review and selection process
Other duties as assigned (may include recruitment and yield activities specifically targeted at international applicants)
Coordinate communication efforts with international constituencies
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts degree
Energy and enthusiasm for the value of a Jesuit liberal arts education
Valid drivers license

Additional information:
This is a full time exempt level position with a salary range of $45000-$50000. The College is committed to providing competitive market pay for its employees. The College also offers a competitive benefits package for full-time staff including:

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement - upon hire candidates will need to live within commuting distance
