Were seeking a Principal Engineer who is passionate about building world-class personalized experiences for our customers. You will lead a team of talented engineers drive platform thinking and deliver multi-platform solutions (Web iOS Android) that meet both technical and business goals. You thrive in fast-paced environments think in terms of customer obsession and have a strong bias to action. Experience in compliance and finance is a plus.
What youll be doing
- Lead and Inspire: Guide a high-performing engineering team fostering a culture of ownership accountability and continuous improvement
- Customer Obsession: Champion the customer experience ensuring our products are intuitive accessible and personalized
- Platform Thinking: Architect develop and maintain scalable and resilient platforms that power our multi-channel solutions
- Multi-Platform Delivery: Oversee the design development and deployment of solutions across Web iOS and Android platforms
- Collaboration: Work closely with product design compliance and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for the technical health performance and security of our products
- Compliance & Finance: Ensure solutions meet regulatory and compliance standards; leverage finance experience where applicable
- Quality at Speed: Focus on building high-quality solutions efficiently balancing rapid delivery with robust maintainable code and systems
Youll bring the following required skills and experiences
- 10 years of developer experience
- Technical Expertise: Deep experience with React Native Kotlin and microservices architecture
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading engineering teams in fast-paced high-growth environments
- Multi-Platform Development: Strong background in building and delivering solutions for Web iOS and Android
- Business Acumen: Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical strategy
- Collaboration: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ownership & Accountability: Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility for team and product outcomes
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in compliance-driven industries (e.g. finance healthcare) & familiarity with financial services or fintech environments
$220000 - $270000 a year
For cash compensation we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function level and geographic location benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Per applicable law the salary range for this role is $220000 - $270000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors as well as candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the identified range.
This role is also eligible for a bonus equity and competitive benefits.
