About the Role:
This role is designed for a self-starter who is eager to provide techno-functional expertise fostering operational excellence and innovation within the division. With a proactive approach to IT coordination the candidate will enhance digital efficiency and support critical applications enabling WTD to deliver on its environmental stewardship goals. By taking ownership of projects and initiatives this individual will bridge business needs with technology solutions ensuring sustainable and impactful outcomes.

Candidates in this role will be expected to immediately contribute to several high-impact areas including:

IT Project Resource & Coordination: Lead project scoping management and coordination efforts to ensure successful outcomes collaborating seamlessly with centralized IT teams.

Application Support: Deliver functional support for production applications and reporting systems ensuring reliability and user satisfaction.

Low-Code Projects: Support continuous improvements using low-code solutions. The candidate will work on and help coordinate efforts to streamline processes and automate workflows through low-code tools.

Reporting & Analytics: Utilize BI tools such as Power BI to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.

Documentation & Knowledge Management: Develop comprehensive resources including application specifications user requirements and training materials for designated document repositories.

Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation through effective IT coordination and application support. Enable continuous improvement by supporting end users adoption of new tools and provide accessible documentation.

Community Trust and Service Delivery: With improved internal processes and technology integration there will be a direct positive effect on service quality bolstering trust and satisfaction from both internal interested parties and the broader community.

This role not only demands a strong technical foundation and a keen eye for effective process management but also calls for a determined agile contributor who can immediately drive impactful change across the entire digital ecosystem.

About the Team:
This role is a member of the Technology & Enterprise Services Unit in the Finance & Administration section of the Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD). The Finance & Administration section provides services that include budget development & oversight capital finance procurement & contracts administration technology services central service administration (i.e. Division Fleet management) accounting audit & compliance rates & financial planning payroll and billing & accounts receivable.

Our unit is responsible for coordinating work with County central service agencies and helping to implement new IT tools for WTD. We strive to be customer focused and deliver excellent service to internal WTD clients in the areas of technology fleet risk management and other administration services that will support successful delivery of capital projects and system operations in a rapidly evolving clean water industry.
