Job Title: Enterprise Systems Engineer
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Create control algorithms download source code to controllers manage system databases and implement an animated front-end graphical user interface.
- Experience in Multiple Systems integration getting different protocols to talk to each other and share information. One front end for multiple platforms.
- Executes project start-ups commissioning testing and troubleshooting of installed BAS controls and mechanical systems on assigned projects.
- Participates in the layout and coordination of network drops IP addresses and monitoring tools with customers IT Department personnel.
- Works with equipment vendors to coordinate communication protocols encryption and database requirements for integration to their systems.
- Runs semi-complex reports to analyze system operation works with project team to demonstrate system operation and verify consistency with the contracted scope of work.
- Participates in final inspection and testing assures customer acceptance and conducts training for end user customers on system operations.
- Provides Plans & Control System Documents to application engineering for as-built drawings using the latest digital technology.
- Mentors other specialists who may need specific automation or HVAC product knowledge.
Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements minimal experience computer skills required etc.)
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of experience with Siemens Apogee and Desigo.
- Must have working knowledge of HVAC systems - Unitary Systems to Central Plants.
- Troubleshooting skills for determining HVAC vs. computer/controller issues.
- General understanding of IP networks.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming. (Java C)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD a plus.
- BACnet and/or LON Lonworks Control Systems Tridium NIAGARA AX/NIAGARA 4/Distech/Eclypse Direct Digital Controls Honeywell Webs MODbus Alerton Johnson Controls FX Staefa Solidyne Andover Controls Siemens and Schnieder preferred

Compensation Range: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
