The College of Education & Human Development is seeking to hire anAdministrative Specialist Senior for theDeans Officeat Georgia State University.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This position will provide administrative support to the Deans Office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Investigate and resolve college-wide payroll and time card issues for temporary and student employee populations.
  • Initiation review and approval of OneUSG transactions for temporary and student employee populations.
  • Process Graduate Assistant and Part-Time Instructor hires .
    • Review credentials for MFE processing.
    • Enter payroll data in PPGRA.
    • Process tuition waivers in Banner.
  • Assist with processing HR documents in data systems (SharePoint Taleo etc.).
  • Participate in hiring / training / supervision of Deans Office student employee hires.
  • Oversee CEHD HR Team webpage ensuring all documents and web content are in compliance with 508 regulations.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and four years administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience with OneUSG.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
