We are seeking a talented individual to join our Early Career Talent Acquisition team at Marsh McLennan. This role will ideally be based in Louisville KY. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role will support the Early Career Campus Recruiting team. The successful candidate for this position will have the desire to be an active member of the team. They will not be shy about participating providing input and comfortable expressing ideas to improve processes and procedures. In this role you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the firm to execute inclusive recruitment programming and initiatives.

The Inclusive Recruitment Specialist must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and understand the importance of engaging with Internal external and student stakeholders. Being organized and having the ability to multi-task will be critical to ones success. We are looking for a problem solver who pays close attention to detail and thinks on their feet. This position will require the incumbent to work with a sense of urgency due to the many competing and tight deadlines

We will count on you to:

  • Work with Campus Recruiters and key stakeholders to develop market mapping and outreach strategy for Diverse candidates
  • Strategize plan and execute events on and off campus in person and virtually that bring the Marsh McLennan brand to life and increase the talent pipeline.
  • Develop and execute an Early ID strategy targeting underclassman to introduce the career paths and opportunities Marsh McLennan offers to begin their career journey.
  • Identify and attend Inclusion and Diversity external/campus recruiting conferences and events to recruit diverse candidates and build relationships early in their careers
  • Utilize recruiting tools such as Handshake and LinkedIn to reach diverse candidates
  • Partner with internal groups such as Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs) to collaborate on firm-wide initiatives and best practices
  • Liaise with internal marketing and social media teams to enhance efforts that showcase our culture and value proposition for recruiting diverse candidates
  • Conduct initial phone screens for potential candidates
  • Track and analyze data on sourcing and conversion efforts to understand the efficacy of sourcing strategies and drive improvements as needed
  • Assist recruiters with screening and reviewing candidates as necessary
  • Additional projects as assigned

What you need to have:

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with all levels across a multicultural environment
  • Strong interpersonal analytical and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously balancing competing priorities with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of highly collaborative team
  • High level of energy creativity and initiative-taking
  • Ability to prioritize and manage own time - someone who is willing to step outside their job description
  • Self-starter quick study confidence and ability to work with little guidance
  • Ability to manage a heavy work volume and meet deadlines in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Flexible attitude hard-working and results driven

What makes you stand out

  • Experience in risk management and insurance consulting financial services and/or a similar professional services industry
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of corporate or agency recruiting
  • Knowledge of recruiting policies procedures and laws
  • Knowledge of Talent Acquisition systems and platforms (Workday Handshake Phenom HireVue and LinkedIn)
