Job Summary: Hospice Account Executive
The Hospice Account Executive is a key position within the company. Responsible for increasing
Medicare and Managed Care admissions for Envision Hospice the Account Executive will develop and implement both business-building and relationship-building strategies for identified high opportunity accounts within an assigned geographical territory.
Hospice Account Executive Primary Responsibilities:
- The Account Executive is expected to generate appropriate patient referrals/admissions from accounts.
- The expectation is to continue to grow the number of referrals/admissions over time by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all referral sources in the community.
- Patients needs are the highest priority and this position is the front line of Envisions account care and patient satisfaction.
- The priorities of business growth and patient satisfaction are of equal importance for the Account Executive.
- Key referral sources include physicians clinics nursing homes assisted/independent living facilities and hospital personnel including but not limited to case managers discharge planners and other appropriate referral sources.
- The Account Executive will actively establish and maintain market awareness acceptance and branding of the company as the Optimal Choice for the Hospice needs throughout Envisions local service area.
- He/she will represent Envision and its services in a competent professional and responsive manner and maintain standards of high-quality customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
Hospice Account Executive Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and related healthcare experience and knowledge.
- Minimum of two to five years of recent medical field sales experience.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in sales in one of the following settings: Hospice or SNF.
- Demonstrated history of positive sales results preferably involving sophisticated and meaningful customer relationships that led to outstanding results.
- Must be able to work independently make judgments based on assessments and data available and act accordingly.
- Must be flexible innovative and possess good interpersonal skills. Must be
- able to cope with mental and emotional stress and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Excellent communication negotiation and public relations skills.
- Ability to market effectively with customers referral sources and the community.
- Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
- Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
- Satisfactory criminal background check.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
- Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
- Ability to be creative and think outside the box and to have fun while doing it.

Compensation: Base Salary from $85000 - $99000 annually depending on experience.
All rates are negotiable within this range and will be discussed during the hiring process.
