Main Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Control
- VMD (Visual Merchandise Display): Create new ideas for Product display.
- Oversee books lifestyle retail and caf product inventory management stock levels and ordering processes.
- Conduct regular stock takes and manage loss prevention
- Store WH: I set up layout by categories for staff they are well prepare on shelf by clean and clear.
Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of both the bookstore lifestyle retail and caf to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor and maintain store standards cleanliness visual merchandising and overall store presentation.
- Ensuring Store Clean well-organized (Japan Standard); visually appearing maintaining security measures to prevent theft and fraud.
- Coordinate with the Merchandising department to make sure for book lifestyle retail and caf inventory orders ensuring timely replenishment and stock accuracy.
Sales & Financial Performance:
- Sales and Promotion: Managing Promotion and setting up displays to attract customers and boost more sales.
- Manage daily cash handling sales transactions and financial reporting
- Analyze sales trends develop promotions and recommend strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Ensure sales targets profitability and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Staff Management:
- Recruit train and supervise retail and caf staff.
- Schedule shifts manage attendance and oversee team performance.
- Foster a positive work environment and motivate the team to deliver excellent service.
- Train employees on customer service product knowledge and efficient service for the bookstore lifestyle retail and F&B sectors
Marketing & Events:
- Plan and execute in-store events such as book launches author signings and reading sessions.
Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns and social media activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Retail Manager Preferably in a Bookstore caf or lifestyle retail setting.
- Minimum 8 yrs and above with at least 1500 sqm flooring retail experience.
- Experince in Visual Merchandise Product display
- Strong leadership organizational and multitasking skills.
- PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act): Implementing continuous improvement processes for business operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
