ASX listed company Korvest Ltd is the parent company of Korvest Galvanising and EzyStrut. Korvest Galvanising processes structural steel & components for both internal and external customers. EzyStrut is the market leader in cable and pipe support systems throughout Australia.
We have an exciting opportunity for the appointment of a Customer Service Officer to join the Galvanising team at Korvest Ltd.
Your new role:
Reporting to the Customer Service and Operations Team Leader the Galvanising Customer Service Officer will work within a supportive team and play an integral role in building effective relationships with both our external and internal customers process customer purchase orders by creating factory work orders facilitating quotations and attending to other sales related activities. This role is responsible for:
- Delivering high quality customer service including through phone calls emails and in person
- Timely preparation and sending of customer quotes
- Creating work orders invoicing archiving creating purchase orders and other general administrative duties
- Accurate and efficient data entry and completion of administrative tasks
- Other tasks required to support the galvanising sales department as requested by management
You will bring:
Effective communication and presentation skills
- Previous experience in a customer service role (advantageous)
- Previous experience dealing with wholesalers customers and distributors within the electrical mechanical or similar industries (advantageous)
- Passionate about customer service
- Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office
- High regard for safety and compliance of all OHSE policies and procedures
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
