Hume Anglican Grammar is a multi-campus co-educational Anglican Diocesan School offering education from Prep to Year 12 in the Northern growth corridor of Melbourne.
- Hume has an open enrolment policy so educates children from many faiths and with a diverse range of backgrounds and abilities.
- The School aspires to develop young people who are kind creative inquiring socially and emotionally at ease and who strive to achieve their personal best in all their endeavours.
- In 2025 the School will have 2960 students and employ some 290 staff - 195 teaching and 95 non-teaching. The student enrolment at each campus is at Mt Ridley 1448 Donnybrook 1036 and Kalkallo 476.
- Ultimately at capacity Hume will have 3640 students (Mt Ridley 1456 Donnybrook 1596 and Kalkallo 588) with a corresponding cohort of teaching and general staff totalling 350 across its three campuses with plans for further expansion.
- As one of Victorias fastest growing schools it is expected to be one of the largest non-government schools in the state with plans for further expansion.

It is not by chance that we have young people who readily display warmth humour and respect for one another and their teachers.We are seeking two passionate and committed Primary educators to join our wonderful team in a supportive and professional environment at either our Freier (Mickleham) or Donnybrook campus. The first position is full time fixed term and will ideally commence on Monday 25 August 2025 and will conclude on Friday 12 December 2025. The second position is also full time fixed term and will ideally commence Monday 21 July 2025 and will conclude on 12 Friday 2025. Both roles offer the possibility for extension across our campuses. Ability to teach Prep for the Donnybrook position would be advantageous.
All teachers share a significant responsibility in preparing young people to lead successful and productive lives. The quality of the teacher is the single-most important in-school factor influencing student achievement. Teachers can be a source of inspiration and equally importantly provide a dependable and consistent influence on young people as they grow and flourish and ultimately make choices about their future. All Teachers are expected to actively engage in the co-curricular and pastoral care program
Requirements of the Role:
- Bachelor of Education degree or higher
- Current registration or immediate eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
