As one of our Senior Community Development Officers (SCDO) you will be pivotal in building the capacity of local communities and sports clubs to address drug and alcohol-related harm. With a strong focus on health promotion you will be a key member of our team delivering our Good Sports and Local Drug Action Team (LDAT) programs. You will have the opportunity to proactively develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of sporting associations from footy clubs to cricket netball and more as well as with community groups across the NT.
As a confident public speaker you will facilitate community forums and workshops with these groups as well as represent the ADF at various external events and expositions.

Who are we looking for
We are looking for someone who is deeply passionate about health promotion and community engagement with a commitment to what we do here at the ADF. You will be personable interactive and enjoy meeting new people and fostering relationships. Your drive to make a difference confidence building new stakeholder connections and ability to meet targets will be essential for this position.
Key experiences and skills that will set you up for success include:
Travel across Northern Territory will also be a requirement of this role.
