Test Analyst

ActewAGLs Technology Division is seeking a motivated switched on individual with excellent communication skills to join the team as a Test Analyst. About your new team

The Retail IT group of ActewAGLs Technology Division is highly customer focused providing a broad range of Technology services to the ActewAGL Retail business. This includes projects business as usual (BAU) work and production support. We are a highly supportive collaborative fun and dynamic team.

About your new role

This role will see you performing quality assurance on the development enhancements and defect remediation produced by the team. You will ensure ActewAGL is delivering high quality and functional products to our end users. To succeed in this role you will be an agile approachable articulate and a trusted advisor and team player.

A day in the life of the role

You will:

  • Undertake testing of websites applications and integrations.
  • Analyse user stories case acceptance criteria and requirements for validity and feasibility
  • Create test scripts plans and test cases for Systems Integration and Regression tests.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to ensure test plans cover business requirements and approvals.
  • Execute and manage all activities in the test plans to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Support UAT and PVT testing processing including producing test reports.

About you and what you will bring to be successful

Essential

  • You have a minimum of 2 years testing experience in Website integration and general QA testing
  • You have experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • You have proven experience in delivering/designing Test plans and Reports
  • You have demonstrated experience in collaborating with business teams and a range of key service providers
  • You have demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team show initiative and coordinate workload amid competing priorities and deadlines. Capable to deliver during times of ambiguity and change
  • You have proven experience testing cross browser and multi device.
  • You have the ability to think creatively to thoroughly test products rather than just following a script.
