Bethany Community School has a need for a Third Grade Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.
Salary Range: $56798 to $98195 per current Bethany Education Association Contract
Benefits: Comprehensive Health and Welfare Benefits per the current Bethany Education Association Contract.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Connecticut State Department of Education Certification in Elementary Education.
- 1 to 3 years of early elementary experience is preferred.
- Experience with developmentally appropriate inquiry-based teaching and learning.
- Experience with Readers-Writers Workshop is preferred.
- Experience with the Data Team process is preferred.
- Experience with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of instructional technology in support of student learning.
- Ability to meet the needs of all learners.
- Aptitude emotional maturity and stability are necessary for working with various types of children and professional staff. Strong organizational recordkeeping interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
The Bethany Community School is an elementary school (PK to 6) located in central Bethany on an extensive rural campus.
The school offers a supportive leadership team and staff and extensive instructional resources.
