Job Description

The Pittsfield Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Director of Special Education. Salary: Regionally competitive salary and benefits packageExtensive experience in special education administration including direct involvement with IEP development team chairing regulatory compliance and collaborative service planning in accordance with MGL 71B and IDEAExceptional leadership and organization skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams supervise staff and ensure timely and compliant implementation of individualized education programs across multiple school settings. Must have strong knowledge of special education laws and evaluation procedures with the ability to clearly communicate regulations to staff families and community partners.
