Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
Ability to lead and supervise all custodian staff
Ability to monitor all custodial contractor staff for work quality and performance
Ability to schedule all team work during the school year
Ability to manage custodial equipment and supplies inventories
Ability to communicate and coordinate with the school principal faculty and staff
Ability to support the district workplace Safety and Health Programs
Ability to manage the Building Energy Conservation Program and monitor the operation of building systems
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form
Ability to perform manual work requiring some physical strength and agility
Ability to perform duties with awareness of all requirements and Board of Education policies
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils teachers staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range:Maintenance
Length of Contract: 12 months/8 hours per day
Starting Date:Immediately upon selection
College transcripts three references and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process.
