We are seeking an Assistant Account Executive to join our NY team to support our busy Account Executives! In this role you will handle a broad range of daily activities independently utilizing technical expertise and product knowledge.

Location: This role will report to our Long Island office (401 Broadhollow Road Suite 303Melville NY 11747) five days a week with the potential of hybrid flexibility in the future.
Functions & Responsibilities of the Role:
Receive review and forward policies endorsement and other documents
Execute placement requests to modify coverage as needed
Review and forward premium invoices
Prepare and review submissions of Specifications.
Assist in Proposal Presentation
Adhere to internal QC policies and procedures
Maintain communication with underwriters and brokers
Perform other specific duties as directed by AE
Pursue educational and technical studies required for next level
Education and Technical Qualifications:
Microsoft Excel & Word experience
Solid knowledge of all lines of insurance; Rating experience helpful
Good problem solving and analytical abilities
Selling skills helpful along with ability to make recommendations for cross-selling
Working knowledge of inter-company operations i.e.: Marketing Accounting
Ability to execute and ensure compliance to all internal Quality Control procedures
Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $50000-$55000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
