Description
The Retail Merchandise Coordinator reports to the Gift Shop Manager/Buyer and will participate in all aspects of the gift shop operations including store operations human resource management (hiring/training/scheduling) customer service and sales visual merchandising and product placement inventory management (purchasing ordering transferring) purchase order management and expediting and expense management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The RMC will have administrative responsibilities as well as store responsibilities as needed.
- Participate in product placement and store sale events and maintains communication vehicles such as displays signs brochures etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested..
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma preferred. Associate Degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of prior retail store experience including but not limited to selling merchandising receiving store opening/closing customer service buying payroll interviewing training.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
